While our Western culture finds a way to market each holiday, we have an option to create a more enlightened experience. I invite you to Valentine considered as a "Holi" day, that concerning relations and heart.
We are told that for a healthy heart, we achieve a cardiovascular exercise at least three times a week for at least twenty minutes and should be done in training our target range of 65% to 85% of our maximum heart rate. Walking, jogging, biking, dancing, skating, skiing, swimming, hiking, climbing stairs and all the requirements. We have learned that eating low fat diet low in cholesterol decreases our chances of developing heart disease. Although this information is important and useful, we must broaden our understanding of what keeps the heart healthy. So far we have only studied physiological aspects of a healthy heart, and this has led people to do everything possible to pass through an aerobic workout. We run with headphones, reading magazines, while cycling, and watching television in our films, all to make time pass faster. We do this Are we supposed to do, but get minimal benefits compared with the year that is directed inward. This type of experience exercise is good from time to time. Sometimes we just need the music to blast forget our stress. However, this should not be "vanilla".
In a holistic approach to fitness, we recognize that this is not enough to go through the motions. We must go through the emotions! That means get in touch with our emotions so they are better able to articulate them. The heart is the center of spiritual energy that has to do with love and relationships. In our relationship, to meet the emotional needs of others, while our emotional needs met creates a heart healthy. Forgiveness, compassion, gratitude and kindness to help us create a happy heart, like laughter, love and lightness. We can run all day, but if the heart has negative emotions like anger, resentment or guilt, never to be in a healthy state. These negative emotions deprive us of our energy. And often occur in an area of the body and damage our health.
Mindfulness invites us to be present at all feeling arise, if they give pleasure or pain. Mindfulness simply asks us to create a space for with these feelings without trial. As you become more aware of our feelings, can consciously choose how to manage them. When we begin to identify, label and move through negative emotions, we are free. Therefore, to attract more love, joy, peace and happiness in our lives. This helps much to heart health and well-being. So, Valentine's Day, instead of being involved in one or irritated by commercialism, Consider this. What relationship in your life is a vocation of care and attention? What are the negative emotions are necessary to recognize and Release so you can feel more energy? Who needs to forgive (which you may) so you can move, grow, or heal?
