I recently met a very important debate with a new survivor, who was very upset not to have an adequate supply food and water. We sat and discussed a variety of ways to collect food and survival of different types of food available for use in their emergency equipment. Finally, they began to discuss their need for water resources.

He acknowledged that the bottle of some who have managed to buy and store development problems. It seems he keeps his emergency supplies in a metal shed. During the winter 2008 had store bought several gallons of ice water on him. Naturally, this has resulted in containers that are opened creating a mess. Anyone familiar with me knows that I personally like to have backup plans in place for any situation that allows me to be placed in which also covers my water storage as well. I have 50 gallons barrels to store my water in case of emergency. In this case, I do the next best thing. In my room emergency food is about 5 liters of bottled water, several cases of gallon jugs of water and an abundance of minutes each bottled water containers.

I am fully aware that this is not a sufficient supply by any stretch of imagination, but as I said I like the plans water supply emergency in addition to my list, I take a lot of tables for purifying water available and several gallons of household chlorine without flavor.

While this may seem at first sight is not really. We do not have enough water for emergencies. Given this lack of water, I decided to do the following. I have lots of empty soda bottles 2-liter plastic in my garage. These two liters stored drink bottles work well for a range of uses for survival, water is only one of them. Many people claim that water could be left in these bottles up to 10 years, however, I will not run that risk to safety my family. I store the empty bottles. By storing plastic bottles make sure they are not fragile or edge damage. Always keep lids on the bottles go well.

In the first notification of an emergency that can rapidly take the boxes of empty bottles and wash them well. Then I filled each one with fresh water. If the emergency does not materialize as expected then it is not big problem. Simply use bottled water I made for my plants or for cooking. This is a great plan if you do not have space to store a large amount of emergency water and I find it remarkable to complete my purchase supply store.
