Going Green should not leave for the holiday - indeed, that environmental holiday season is a good way to land both pleasant and teach their children about environment. Try one or more of these easy ideas to green your vacation this year.

For older children, have to help make gifts for themselves or other family members such as grandparents. Make a mold of handprints in clay using a kit (available in stores craft) or make lots of organic cereals, fudge, or cookies.
- Decorate with natural elements. Instead of dolls plastic and stickers, decorate with objects found in nature. Take the kids on a hike and collect pine cones, twigs and other natural elements to decorate with. Consider bird feeders from pine cones to hang near windows and wreaths fresh cranberries. Place a bowl of pineapple (or apple green or red light, or grenades, or orange) on the table for a centerpiece.
- Donate unwanted items or unused. Instead of allowing the unused items such as clothes or toys is adopted, collecting dust or take valuable space closet, donate the items. Local charities such as the Army Hi, churches and other organizations probably very happy to have the items and put them to good use.
